The static dissipative ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) brush line from Gordon Brush was developed to meet the unique challenges static discharge poses in a number of industry processes. There are many highly sensitive manufacturing processes that can be severely damaged by static electric buildup. Static Dissipative Nylon / Statigo9 Brush Details:

The Gordon Brush line of static dissipative ESD brushes are made with a unique nylon material called Statigo9 or SD Nylon that offers static dissipative properties. Statigo9 is Nylon that has a static dissipative additive that is incorporated into the Nylon pellets before extrusion. By working the additive into the Nylon's resin matrix, the material will not flake or peel like coated materials.

Static dissipative ESD brushes are available through Blue Thunder Technologies with fibers in thicknesses ranging from .003" to .016". This material offers a number of properties that make it useful for sensitive applications:
